Welcome to the Pennsylvania Science Curriculum Council (PASCC) wikispace!

General Information:

The Pennsylvania Science Curriculum Council is a group of Science teachers from Western Pennsylvania dedicated to improving the education of all students through collaboration. Pennsylvania is in a time of transition with their standardized testing, often leaving teachers and districts scrambling to prepare for a variety of different tests and measures. Through collaboration, we hope to share ideas amoung teachers and districts, discuss scope and sequence and determine the best educational environment for all of our students. Our main goal is to improve the learning for all Pennsylvania students and therefore, improve achievment for all Pennsylvania students.

The next scheduled meeting is Friday, April 15, 2001 at Southmoreland High School from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
PASCC met on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Greensburg Salem High School
